Same-Day Sick Visits
Well Visits
It is rewarding for us to watch our patients grow and thrive. Because children are growing every day and changing rapidly it is important to ensure that they are developing properly and have no serious abnormalities. All About Children Pediatrics believes regular well visits can put your child on the path to good health as they grow and develop.
Appointments for well child care fill up in advance, so please plan ahead. Each provider has an allotment of visits per day that are open for well visits depending on the season. Our schedule for well visits follows the guidelines set up by the American Academy of Pediatrics…
ADD/ADHD Patient Management
Dear Parents of AACP Patients:
To more effectively manage the care of our patients with ADD/ADHD, the following protocols are being implemented.
All refills must go through the ADD/ADHD refill line. When calling for a refill, please include 1. Your child's provider, 2.Your name and relationship to the patient, 3. Patient's name and date of birth, 4. The name and dosage of the medication, 5. How the patient is doing on the current dose. Please indicate if you need an immediate return phone call.
Please note:
If you call for a refill on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - your prescription will be ready on Friday. If you call for a refill on Thursday or Friday - your prescription will be ready the following Tuesday. If you need your prescription earlier than the standard refill day, there will be a $5 charge that is due upon prescription pickup! Please note, all prescriptions are provided to pharmacies electronically.
ALL patients must have a visit every six months. These visits will be optimally scheduled between September - November, and May - July. This schedule was developed to assess medication effectiveness once school begins in the fall and again once the school year is complete. Please understand that this is for the overall better care for your child and we feel is NOT too burdensome. We will work to keep these visits as efficient as possible and will, in large part, be dependent on your help with timely, honest feedback with refill phone calls. Copies of Vanderbilt forms from the teachers and parents need to be brought to these follow up visits to monitor the patient's symptoms. Visits will be more frequent until a stable dose is found and will be determined at each individual visit.
These new policies are for the safety and well being of your child. Please keep in mind that we do not/will not ever compromise the quality of care and monitoring of our patients.
We are now offering Sports/camp physicals for a flat fee of $50. These appointments do not include vaccines, immunizations or treatment of illness or discussion about growth and development.
Please call us today and make an appointment if your child/children will be going to camp or need a sports physical.
